Increased Spending with Declining Academics

The most recent PSSA data for our Middle Schools demonstrate the lack of focus on teaching and learning for our students. 71% of our middle schoolers are proficient or advanced in the statewide assessment in reading. Even more troubling is that ONLY 53.72% on average of our middle schoolers are proficient or advanced in the statewide assessment in mathematics.
